Distinctive Features
This type was first described by Keay and Carreras Monfort (1996). It is a piriform amphora with a low concave rim, pronounced handles with a circular profile and a flat ring foot. Its closest parallel is a complete vessel from Lenzburg (Ettlinger 1977: 13, Fig. 3).
